Reporting Screens
There are multiple types of reporting screens available to you in Everflow. You can find them by opening the menu, selecting "Reporting", and then choosing the type of report you want to see:
- Offer Reporting - break down your traffic stat offer-by-offer. This is particularly useful when trying to figure out which offer(s) to shift your focus to, and which ones you should pause
- Sub ID Reporting - this reporting screen will let you break down your traffic based on the information you pass in your tracking parameters (sub1, sub2, sub3, sub4, sub5, source_id)
- Daily Reporting and Hourly Reporting - these reports break your stats down as a function of time, letting you analyze trends on either an hour-by-hour or day-by-day basis. These can be very useful in helping you determine when you should concentrate your marketing efforts and when you should ease off.
- Click Reporting/ Conversion Reporting/ Event Reporting- these reports are centered around providing the most detailed information for each of these metrics. For example, you can see all of the details of each individual click/offer/event including timestamps, tracking parameters, user agent, IP addresses, geolocation information, transaction IDs, device info, etc.
- Postback Reporting - this will give you detailed information about each time your postback was fired; this report is most useful in troubleshoot tracking integrations
Analytics
Everflow also offers a few Analytical tools to be able to manipulate your data. You can see the analytics reports by selecting one of the options from the menu under "Analytics":
- Dimensional Analytics - this allows you to pivot around multiple metrics in one view; configure data points (dimensions) to drill down based on the selected parameters
- Flex Analytics - The flex tool lets you build a custom report by allowing you to select specific columns to group data points and metrics together as you see fit. The flex tool offers a great degree of versatility in manipulating and analyzing your data
- Dynamic Nested Analytics - this tool lets you select a parent variable and a child variable, so that you can see how they relate to one another
Applying Filters to a Report
Whether you are using reporting or analytics, you can choose to apply a number of different filters to customize the data you see. For example, if we look at the "Offer Report", you can see options to set the timeframe you want to see, as well as the option to apply filters:
To select a timeframe, just click on the dates at the top of the screen. This will open a menu where you can choose a preset date range (such as Today, Yesterday, Last Week, etc) or a custom timeframe using the calendar:
When you click "Add Filter" you can choose to add filters to which offers you are shown:
You can also filter the report based on certain metrics, such as "only show offers more than 1 conversion", or "only show those with at least 100 clicks", etc.:
The filters available can change depending on which reporting screen you are looking at, so feel free to experiment to find the most useful tools for you!
