Setting Up Your Payment Method

Setting up your payment method is easy! We currently support the following payment methods:

First, expand the side menu, click "Company Settings", and then go to "Billing"

Once on the Billing Page, click "Edit":

Then, toggle "Enable Payment Method", and choose your preferred method, and input your payment info:

Direct Deposit - Choose this to provide bank account info for a US-based bank account. Third party payment providers (for example, Payoneer) may offer a service to provide non-US residents with a US bank account in order to receive payments via Direct Deposit.

  • You must provide the following info for direct deposit:
    • Bank Name - this is self explanatory: Provide the name of the bank in which the account is located
    • Bank Address - be sure to provide the address of the bank and not your personal address
    • Account Name - this refers to the owner of the account, generally an individual's full name or the legal name of a company
    • Account Number 
    • Routing Number - you must provide the ACH Routing Number, not the Wire Routing Number

PayPal - if you have a PayPal account, you can select this option and then provide the email or phone number associated the PayPal account

Payoneer - Payoneer offers two ways to receive payment. One uses direct deposit info, the other involves providing the email address used on your Payoneer account

  • If you opt to use their Direct Deposit info, you will need to select "Direct Deposit" from the payment method dropdown and enter the info they provide there exactly as described in the "Direct Deposit" set up.
  • If you want to use the email method, there will be one more step - you need to connect your account to ours.

    In that case, accounting will send an email with a link to the Payoneer account email you provided before your first payment is due. The email will look like this:

When you click that link, you will be brought to this page:

DO NOT SELECTED A PREFERRED WITHDRAWAL METHOD!

All you need to do is click the link that says "Already have a Payoneer Account? Sign in" (Outlined with a red box in the image above).

Then, just need to log in, and you will get a message that says "You can now receive payments from SmartAdv, LLC":

Wire Transfer - This refers specifically to international wire transfers, where you will provide your bank account info for accounts located outside of the US. This option is best reserved for larger payments as the bank deducts a $40 fee from the payment. We do not pay via wire unless the balance exceeds $1,000.

  • This is very similar to setting up direct deposit, but is reserved for non-US bank accounts. Refer to your bank for instructions on what info to provide.

Everflow Pay* - This option is reserved for those looking to receive international wire transfers, but are located in specific countries that we are restricted from making transfers to directly. We will reach out to you if you choose to provide wire info, but are located in a restricted country. The setup is similar to setting up Wire Transfer info, but requires a couple of extra steps, including uploading a W8 form.

Regardless of the payment method you choose to use, let your account manager know as soon as you have finished setting it up.
