How Can I See How Many People Made it to an Offer's "Checkout"?

Some offers allow you to view checkouts and other events to help you optimize your campaigns.

While "Base" conversions are triggered when a sale is made, there are other types of  non-paid conversions that we call “events”. If enabled, these tracking events will be triggered when a customer reaches a specific point in the offer's funnel, such as when they add a product to their cart, or when they hit the checkout button. These events can be very useful when optimizing your campaigns.

First, it is important to note that not all offers have this feature enabled! The easiest way to confirm whether or not an offer has additional events setup, is to visit the offer’s page in the platform and check the “Payout” section.

In the screenshot above, you can see that “Base” has a payout of $80.00 (“Base”, refers to the "base conversion", which is triggered when a sale is made). This particular offer also has an “Add to Cart” event with a payout of $0.00. The presence of the $0.00 “Add to Cart” event here means you will be able to track it in your reporting screens.

In order to help you find the offer which have this feature enabled, we added a special selection to the "Channels" filter in the offers catalog. From the offers catalog, you can select the filter icon, then click on "Channels" and scroll until you see the option that says "Event: Add to Cart":

In the platform, "Channels" generally refers to the kind of traffic you would use, but we added this custom option to help filter the offers with the "Add to Cart" tracking option.

The platform has several reporting and analytics screens where you can analyze your campaign in detail, including tracking your events and conversions. Learn more about the events report here.

Note: Some offers may also have a "Google/FB Pixel" Event with a payout of $0.00. Since we rely on postbacks for tracking conversions, these events are setup to allow you to input your HTML pixel directly into the platform. In this setup, when a sale occurs, the Base conversion is triggered at the same time the Pixel Event is triggered.
